The ALFA CROSS false ceiling by PROMETAL® is a system characterised by the crossways layout of the load-bearing runners and is particularly appreciated for its compositional versatility; there are, in short, several versions:
The version named "type A" has a load-bearing structure comprising main and cross runners;
The version named "type B" where the crossways elements are integrated into the main runners.

This makes it possible to satisfy sophisticated structural and design requirements by clients.

The exposed structure, characterised by strong visual impact, makes the false ceiling a major compositional element of primary importance in interior design.

The system consists of an exposed load-bearing structure with RUNNERS that have a "C" cross-section installed in a square or rectangular pattern and PANELS - plane or perforated - simply resting on the runners.
These runners are secured to the existing horizontal structures by brackets and slotted bars to ensure a perfectly flat and horizontal ceiling installation.
The panels have four edges facing outwards for easy placement on the runners.
Panels are also available with a special cross-section for the insertion of plasterboard as an insulating material
